Hello,

Toorox is very interesting because it is Gentoo-based.

I am wondering on what are the exact steps on making Toorox a Gnome desktop instead of KDE.

For me, I prefer Gnome because it feels faster and is more stable than KDE. I've used KDE in other distros and it was slower and was not stable at all as compared to Gnome.

Please write down the exact steps for conversion or installation of Gnome.

Hello smlg,

click on Systemconfig -> Software and search for:
gnome
This is only the meta package 2.26.3. When you hit the
Emerge or Install button it will start the installation for
Gnome 2.28.
Also you can open a terminal and execute:
sudo emerge gnome
to start the installation.
