toorox is gentoo-based. You find a documentation list on gentoo.org

i've visit the gentoo.org and i find much information about the system.
much of this information are about the gentoo in specificly, where some of sofware need to be compiled. I understand good? i try difficult tp find in specyficly for toroox comand and more, but maybe i did'nt looking well.

the command you search for is:or(installs much faster)

But i think you search for a user friendly gui
to install or update applications, right?
Then take a look at Systemconfig -> Software.
There are two applications installed for you:
Porthole and Portato. Check it out. :)

I've installed firefox-bin as you tell me with porthole.
i try to install with emerge in a bash, but say" emerge need to super user". what it means? did'nt ask the pw! how to doing?

in a porthole there is not a comand "apply" then you sign tha application. is enough pres the right click on the application, emerge? for firefox it's enough.

them it's startin world update(porthole). this means update for the system or update to packages list only?

another question, if you can help me:
vlc next startin did'nt play for missing plugin for mp4.
Do you know what i need to find in a porthole?
Maybe in general i need to install audio plugin with a specific comand?

First type in:and enter root password.Yes it is. You can also click on the application and then on "Adv Emerge" to select a special version or enable some use-flags (features) which should be built in.If you click on Yes - it will update automatically your system (not all - but most packages. But before you must click on "Sync" to get the latest package tree.
If you click on No and then on World in the left box - you will see a list of packages and you can mark some, that you want to update to the newest version.Have you installed the Multimedia Libs? If not, simply click on Systemconfig -> Multimedia Libs.

the command "su" for example is: su emerge etc...?
if i want to install kaffeine : su emerge-kaffeine Is right?

in a porthole i've run sync , but you tell me about upgrade to click on yes or no, as i would.
i did'nt see "yes or no", i saw + or - is this the comand?

No, when you type in su, you must enter the root password. Then you can install packages with emerge:Click on "Upgrade" - then you will see it.
