I am pleased with the stability, hardware compatibility and speed of Toorox. I am testing Toorox on an old Dell Dimension 3000 with a single core pentium 4 - 2.8 processor. This box was given to me. Toorox has given new life to this machine. My linux experience is somewhat above a beginner but i do not consider my self an expert. Since i am using Gimp 2.8 for my graphics i was pleased to find that my medion graphics tablet worked in Toorox out of the box. This Tablet doesn`t require any drivers but it was advertised as working on various versions of the windows OS. I plan to install Toorox to the hard drive of this machine.
When i boot toorox from my usb stick and use my tablet in gimp 2.8 everything works except when i choose the selective lasso function. In windows this function lets me draw a freehand lasso around the area that i want to select. Under linux the command doesn`t work the same way. I assume that this lasso function should work the same way under linux or windows. Any opions on this matter?
