I wanted to try this distro and downloaded the 32 bit iso (gnome version)but i am having some problem before I can boot into the live desktop. A screen shot is attached showing where the boot process ends. the iso was burned with k3b and the md5 sum generated by k3b itself before burning the iso matches the md5 shown in the download section. Burned with speed "auto" and a 2nd disc with speed set to "x4". I tried to boot with IDE and AHCI and bios is set to default setting. Is there anything i can try to fix this problem.

Can you modify this in your BIOS and try another value?
I recommend you a sata dvd drive but it should also work
with an old ide drive.

I have tried all possible settings in the bios but it hangs always in the same place. I have also tried to connect the drive with a ide to usb converter. In any case I managed to make it live on a pendrive so the issue is not a problem any more. The utility used is called Universal-USB-Installer-1.8.5.6.exe but a windows O\S must be used. Thanks for your support.

if you have no windows xp/vista/7 you also can use:
isohybrid toorox.iso (isohybrid is part of sylinux since 3.68 i think)
dd if=toorox.iso of=/dev/sd*
