There seems to be a problem with setting the two desktop clocks in the newest version. I live in the Central timezone of the USA. When "Chicago" is selected, the clocks are set to the Eastern timezone. Setting to Mountain or Pacific timezones doesn't correct the problem.
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Start a terminal and type in as root:
cp /usr/share/zoneinfo/America/Chicago /etc/localtime
The administrator has disabled public write access.
