Hello, fantastic distro!! Thanks! I do not know any German, however I am familiar with Linux, so I was able to guess my way through the hard disk installation. I cannot get Open Office in English. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but it was still in German. So finally I installed Koffice, and it was in English:-)

Is there any way to get Gparted or QTparted in English?

I am familiar with Gslapt under Slackware based distos, so I was able to use Porthole, however it would be much easier if Porthole could be in English as well. Is this possible? Many thanks!

select in the boot menu of Toorox the first option "Change Language: English"
Then start it with your preferred screen resolution.

To change the language in OpenOffice click on:
Extras -> Optionen -> Spracheinstellungen -> Sprachen -> Benutzeroberfläche ->
Englisch (USA) and restart it.

Do you mean a graphical KDE root login?
Open a terminal and type in:Line 16: AllowRootLogin=false (change -> true)
But it is inadvisable to start the KDE as user: root!

Knemo is a KDE3 control-module. It doesn't run with KDE4.
