I recently tried Toorox as a LiveCD and decided that I liked it enough to install it onto my harddrive.

I experienced no problems when using the liveCD however when I startup the installed version the light on the optical mouse comes on and stays on. The mouse cannot do anything after this, it does not move the cursor and as I do not know the hotkkeys the distro, for the minute, is unusable.

I have tried taking the mouse out and putting it in another USB port, but so far this has made no difference. I am open to any suggestions.

I think that this will be a good distro once I get it working. However can I please urge the developers to create an english installer for future distros as installing and using a translator at the same time is boring.

have you installed Toorox 06.2009 or an older version?
Please let your mouse unplugged while the system is booting and then plug it in. Same issue?Have you installed Toorox with the german language?
You can change this simply in the boot menu (First entry):
Change language: English.
Then Toorox speaks english to you :)
