Hi Guys,

Is Toorox good? Does it actually work?

I am after a good Gentoo distro that has an easy installer and uses Portage.

I was using Sabayon, but then they all went gay and dumped portage for some terrible binary package manager. This is a shame as before this Sabayon was good.

I have also tried Calculate Linux but it's installer is broken and fails at 100% every time. :(

I also tried to get on your IRC channel but it won't let me? How come?

i had the same probleme, like gentoo, sabayon is not what I search and calculate fails.
the first "eix-sync && emerge -avuND world" can take a long time and include some "blocked dependencies". but i think thats not a toorox problem, its "accept-keywords=~amd64" btw ~x86.

irc.fu-berlin.de accept online one connection/ip. i see freenode works :)

As far as I know Toorox is just an easy way to install Gentoo. Otherwise is the same as Gentoo. I have been searching for a good way to install Gentoo and not going through all the lengthy process to install it. So this might just work for me.
